Entry Requirements

Although the training package does not specify any formal entry requirements, CBM has established that the following criteria must be met:

  • Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the start of the program.
  • Educational Qualification: Successful completion of an Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification or higher is required.
  • English Proficiency:
    • Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.0.
    • PTE score of 46.
    • Alternatively, a Certificate III in EAL or its equivalent is acceptable.
  • Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Skills:
    • Adequate written and spoken English and numeracy skills suitable for the qualification.
    • Assessed through a Pre-Training Review and Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy (LLND) test before enrollment.
  • Basic Computer Skills:
    • Applicants should have basic skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Assessment Approach

Assessment typically begins in the session immediately following the course delivery. Since this is a competency-based program, evaluations continue throughout the duration of the course until the participant either demonstrates competency in the required tasks or additional training needs are identified and addressed. Students will be required to complete a variety of assessment tasks, which may include, but are not limited to, written assignments, demonstrations, role plays, and projects.
